Replacement Mainsheet Traveler for H31?

I need to replace my mainsheet traveler. Has anyone done this to the H31? There is not an exact match available by SCHAEFER. Mine is 5'5" and they only sell them in 5' and 6' lengths. I have looked at their website, and also checked out HARKEN and they too sell them in 5' and 6' lengths. They reason that I have to replace it is that the car has been damaged, and the replacement that I ordered does not fit. The original car is not available. Thanks for you help. Give them a try. Gauhauer has good stuff very reasonably priced. You can take a 6 ft length and cut it to fit.

Harken will custom fit it.

Eric: I called Harken and they cut the track to length and custom drill the holes. It was not much extra. I then ordered the rest of the hardward from West Marine. I must tell you our stock track was almost useless. The Harken has been on there for close to 10 years and works like new. I also increase the purchase. Now almost anyone aboard can control the main. If you want a travler from some other company you might check and see if they will custom drill their tracks.

Chose a new Harken system

Thanks for your help. I chose a new Harken track and accessories. I got a 7' track and will fit and cut to 5'5" using the existing holes in the deck cover. How did you get it sooooo fast?

Eric: How did you get it so fast. Are you driving to Pewaukee to pick it up? I do not think you are going to be sorry. They have updated their bearing system since I got mine. I think that the new system is better. Ours still works just as well as the day it was installed. The crap that came with the boat never worked well under load.

Hooper's Yachts

I am working with Hooper's Yachts and they are very responsive. They called around to find everything, and had things drop-shipped. I configured the order yesterday, and everything was ready today. I installed it all, and it was a breeze. I cut the track to length and the 4" stock holes on the track fit my holes PERFECTLY, and all the hardware went on easily.
