Replacement Main: Doyle vs Mack?

Hi,
Our mainsail has finally been "laid to rest" after 21 years of service on our 1987 Hunter 31. We have done a lot of research, and have narrowed our choices down to Doyle and Mack. Any opinions, please? We are not serious racers, but like to go fast,and participate in the club fun races. We sail Inland on a F/W lake in Misouri.

In 2004 I toured the Miami Boatshow looking for new sails. Most of the makers from the big names would not give me the time of day or else they were worked by people who knew less than I knew. Then we came to Mack sails. They spent as much time as I wanted explaining and suggesting sails and a new roller furler for my boat. My wife closed the deal after looking at a sail sample. She liked the quality of the stitching and the workmanship.

When it comes time for sails for my new boat I will go with them again. I have been very satisfied.

My guess is that you don't need to inform us that you're "not serious racers" if you kept the previous main for 21 years.
