I would like to know if there is a replacement head for a 1985 Catalina 30 which has about the same footprint as the original. I think that the original was a Par, but not sure.

Jabsco manual would be the closest

But it's unlikely that any current toilet's mounting bolt pattern will match that of any 18 year old toilet. So the question really becomes whether you want the cheapest toilet, or whether you want one that's reliable and durable. If it's the latter, I recommend the Raritan PH II. About $200...has been rated the best manual toilet under $500 for decades.

As Peggie said, finding the exact footprint would be tough, and it really shouldn't be the criteria for replacement. It's easy to drill new holes for the new head and fill the original ones. Who's going to be on their hands and knees to see if you did a perfect job filling those holes in the head anyway? When I replaced the toilet on my C36 I changed the alignment of it to better use the space while I was at it. My old adage: "if you have to replace, you might as well upgrade" worked in this scenario. Best of luck, Trevor
