I am trying to find a replacement Teak Port Handrail for my 1990 Ericson Olson 911. Does any know where I might be able to find one of these? Also, are they generic handrails made by some other company for Ericson or where they made specifically by Ericson. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! Build Your Own Handrails

Ronald, After looking around for replacement handrails, I went to route of building my own. It propably took ~10 hours including cutting, sanding, and 5 coats of Cetol. Keep in mind, that was for two exterior and two interior since I'm going to through bolt them. Material costs were about 300 for the 4 of them. In the event you found someone who sold equivelents, you would likely be looking at closer to ~$600 for 2. I used a hand router and they came out really nice. I've since bought a table router and that would have made it a lot easier and made them even nicer. I'm sure I won't get any complaints though...I'm very happy with them. They were easy to make, the only reason I was looking at premade was sourcing the teak which ended up being very easy. Ship around though since Edensaw, a local mill that is very well regarded was almost 2X on the material side. good luck. shaun
