Build Your Own Handrails
Ronald, After looking around for replacement handrails, I went to route of building my own. It propably took ~10 hours including cutting, sanding, and 5 coats of Cetol. Keep in mind, that was for two exterior and two interior since I'm going to through bolt them. Material costs were about 300 for the 4 of them. In the event you found someone who sold equivelents, you would likely be looking at closer to ~$600 for 2. I used a hand router and they came out really nice. I've since bought a table router and that would have made it a lot easier and made them even nicer. I'm sure I won't get any complaints though...I'm very happy with them. They were easy to make, the only reason I was looking at premade was sourcing the teak which ended up being very easy. Ship around though since Edensaw, a local mill that is very well regarded was almost 2X on the material side.good luck.shaun
