My 1987 Hunter 31 has a Isomat Mast & spars. The goose neck (NB-26) is broken. Have contacted Charleston Spars & Rigrite both have suggested only solution to replace the boom at very expensive prices. Am looking for other suggestions; used parts, etc. Please share your experiences with me.

Neither Rig Rite nor Seco South have replacement NB-26 gooseneck. But, again thanks for your input.

Go to Charleston Spar's website and look at the distributor list. They show the distributors with a "(STOCKING DEALER)" note on the ones that have a parts inventory. There are quite a few and it might be worth going through the list and calling them to see if one of them still has what you need in their inventory. I found a dealer that had some hard to find parts for my masthead by doing just that. Did you look at the pics on the rigrite website to see if you had the new style (NB26-1) or the old style (NB26-1X)? Maybe you could consider converting your existing boom from one style to the other based on which parts were available? Just a thought. Good luck, Dave

Thanks again for the tip. None of the stocking dealers have the parts I need. So, I've got the casting at my local machine shop getting welded. Much better than new boom @ $1400.00 including shipping and handleing. Thanks again.
