I'm looking to replace the DC switch panel at the nav station on Peningagja, my Bene First 285. I'm hoping someone here will give me an opinion since I know you guys are reluctant to let people know how you feel. :)

I've been looking at the customizable switch panels from New Wire Marine. I like looks even if they aren't traditional sailboat switches. I've also looked at a number of other manufacturers and I'm having trouble finding any panels that would cover the opening left by the existing panel, since it is fairly large for just 8 switches ( 11" x 7" ).

Have any of you replaced your DC panel? Any suggestions on what I should use?

Thanks in advance,
Scott

Contact these guys http://www.bassproducts.com/

they do great work, will be happy to help customize things on the panel for you, and are much cheaper than going with blue sea panels (which I understand actually used to be made by Bass when blue sea was making a name for themselves). They do lots of custom panels for high end names such as Hinckley, and the U.S. Navy, so they know what they are doing.

Yes, I am a happy customer of theirs.

Thanks Brian, I'll look into Bass Products to see what they can do.

Jackdaw, I am a member on that forum, but I thought I'd get some opinions over here as well.
