I just bought a 1970 Mariner 2+2 that is missing the original companionway hatch cover that slides over the entrance to the cuddy from the cockpit. Stuart Marine sells replacement hatches for '72 and later Mariners, but not for '69 - '71 Mariners. I have a couple of questions: 1) Has anyone successfully modified the '72 & later model hatch cover to fit a '69 - '71 Mariner? 2) Has anyone made a replacement from wood or other material that worked well? Unfortunately, I don't have the original as a template. 3) Does anyone have a an extra hatch cover lying around that I could put to good use? Thanks, Dan
