Replacement Bulbs for Tachometer in a Type B Panel

I took my tachometer apart to replace the defunct "hours" LCD and decided to ohm out the two red-colored bulbs in it while I had it apart. One tested OK, the other is open. I'm not familiar with this type of bulb (it twists into a printed circuit board) so I don't know what to search for. My search attempts using the obvious keywords haven't returned any useful results.

Does anyone have a type number or Yanmar part number for this bulb?

OK, on further investigation, I've discovered that my photo above is actually the bulb and socket. The bulb is a friction fit in the socket. The base of the bulb is similar to many automotive bulbs but is smaller than I've seen before.

Update: I'm pretty sure that these bulbs are known as "T1.5 wedge base". I don't yet know the wattage. I haven't found any bulbs with the red plastic coating on them, though.

Use a bit of red nail polish on the bulb. You may need to try a couple shade to get it right. Or you could try coloring the bulb with a red Sharpie pen- that might be more translucent.

I was able to get some T1.5 wedge-base bulbs at NAPA today. There were none of that size out on the floor, the parts person looked them up and got them from the behind-the-counter stock shelves. They are slightly brighter than the stock bulb - 1.2 watts and I think that the original ones were 1 watt. Also, an eBay seller has a listing for some red bulb covers that fit both T1.5 and T1.75 bulbs. I ordered some so I'll see how the install when they arrive.
