Best approach...
The plumbing will be same for all manual toilets--connect intake hose and discharge hose, bolt it down. To make sure of a fit, measure your current toilet, front-back, side-side (including the pump), distance from the base to the front of the bowl and to the back of the bowl. Then compare with those of new toilets. The important measurements are the ones that dictate whether there's room for the pump AND your hand, and whether where the base has to sit leaves enough room behind it for the bowl to fit.Don't expect mounting bolt patterns to match the existing ones...even newer models of identical replacements for older ones don't always match. So you'll have to fill 'em and touch up with gelcoat or paint...no big deal. If the Raritan PH II will fit, that's your best choice IMO. Costs a little more than the least expensive toilets, but has been top rated as the best manual toilet under $500 for decades. It'll last for 15+ years or even longer if you keep it properly lubricated and rebuild it about ever 4-5 years.
