I need to replace the flat aft deck blocks behind the winches that are used for pulling the genoa sheets. Does anyone know were I can find the same block that will fit in the same holes etc. thanks for your help Don / Sunday Silence Cape Coral, FL

Don, I think they are made by Gunter from Swenden. Or one of the countries from northern Europe. They have a representives around the world, but have a rep.in Canada, but they will not return any phone calls or email. I have tried many times to contact them, but no response. Must be something to do with Canadian/American relations I guess. Over the years other Hunter owners have had the same response. None. You will have to take one off and make a pattern of the holes, and go to the Boat Store and see if one of the other blocks will match the hole. Good Luck, Robert "As Time Goes By" St. Louis, MO PS. Garhauer custom made some cheek blocks for our '86 31. After two trys they fit the existing holes perfectly. instead of measurements and a faxed template, we should have just sent them an old one in the first place. Perhaps they have it in their files. Call and ask Guido if he can look up an order for Maryland Marina that he filled about 2 years ago. Cost, if my old memory serves me well, was between $35 - $40. Can't beat Garhauer!! Hope this helps
