I have a fleeting chance to purchase a 2gm Yanmar and would like to replace my ysm8 Yanmar in my 28' Oday with 1" shaft drive. Is this a simple switch or is it a complicated task? Update I purchased the 2qm15 Yanmar and did the measurements as far as motor mounts side too side front too rear and length of each motors and have the room, now what I need to know is will the angle of tranny couplet and drive shaft line up, only way I know to find out is to pull the ysn8 out and slid the 2qn15 in , any other ideas to tell if the angle will line up would be much appreciated
