replace wind vane and antenae

My boat experienced minor damage in a micro burst that took place in
Great Neck, NY last week. I lost my wind vane and possibly the radio antenna.

I may not be able to get a rigger to replace them on the top of the mast. Any suggestions?

The only alternatives I can think of are to go up yourself or drop the mast. Both have pro's and con's.

Move your boat up to a bridge and lean over to work on the top of ..... nevermind that's asking for trouble.
