Catalina 22 Panama City, FL
I have had my 1981 Catalina 22 for one year now. This past weekend I replaced my keel cable and inspected my keel pivot pin and all looked in good condition. I would however like to replace my keel bolts. Mostly because I have no idea when or if this was last done, and do not want them to sieze. (the last owner seamed pretty good to the boat as was the previous so my guess it has been in the last 4/6 years) Can I replace these bolts without lifting the boat off of the trailer? Just one at a time? Most of the post I read have to do with securing the keel, jacking the boat up and replacing the pin. Has anyone ever done this? Thanks! -John
