Has anyone replaced the center window on the hard dodger of a Catalina 445? DIY or professional? Cost?

Can't speak to your Catalina, but when my Eisenglass needed replacement, I used my local sail loft. Don't recall the cost.

Photos may be helpful. I looked at a lot of C 445s on line and I don’t see any with a hard dodger.

Is it acrylic or glass? If it is acrylic a plastics shop can cut a new piece. Use the old piece as a template. If it is tempered or safety glass a glass shop or and auto glass shop may be able to help.

Thanks for your thoughts. Turns out it is polycarbonate. I just found the guy who has installed these windows on all 445s comissioned in the Bay Area since 2010. The entire panel has to be recreated because it's impossible to remove it from the bonding to the vinyl panel without destroying the vinyl attachments. The original polycarbonate was too thick to stitch to the frame. The Seattle company that used to make the windows stopped a few years ago because of low volume. We're making a new panel from scratch.

Nice looking dodger.

I'm sure the guy knows, but when you replace the polycarbonate, be sure to get the newer formulation that has UV and scratch resistance.
