I am ever so close to taking possession of my 1984 H31 and I noticed a need to replace some of the cabin lighting fixtures. Are these fixtures that are specific to vessels and purchased through a marina? Or are these the same fixtures that you would find in an RV? Thanks for your input. Tom

Try Hunter

Have you given a thought to getting replacements from Hunter? That is where I obtained mine for retrofit on my 1991 H-30T. A definite improvement over the metal ones which were tarnishing. As I am also in San Diego give me an e-mail if you are interested in seeing what I did.

Modern Flourescents

are on my list to replace the original incandescents on our '77 h27. All are working, but this looks like an easy job that would yield more light with less poer usage. Will look for "daylight" spectrum rather than flourescent blue when I get around to the job. David Lady Lillie

Cabin Lights

We replaced all our 83H30 lights with red/white brass, purchased from West Marine. We sprayed the brass with lacquer to maintain thier finish. The red lights of are nice for night sailing/night vision and don't attract the bugs.
