Has anyone had any success repairing fenders? I have one with a small hole- looks like somthing sharp- maybe a nail- punctured it, and another one with a leaky valve. Anyone have any hints or do I junk them?

What Brand?

If they are Taylor-Made then they have a lifetime warranty on them. Otherwise, *cry.

West Marine also has a lifetime warrany. Patching does not work. I tried on a large (and very expensive) fender I use for rafts. Rick D.

I used Sikaflex (white) on a fender which had burned through on a hot exhaust. Simply filled the cavity about 2" long x 1/2" wide and covered the material with PVC tape just to get a smooth surface. Peeled tape off after a couple of days. Worked perfectly, hardly notices. Has remained inflated for four years. Sikaflex is polyurethane. Silicone rubber would not have done the job.

Try Marine Goop...it will stick to anything and hold anything together. All the home improvement stores carry it, Lowes, Home Depot, etc.
