Repairing cockpit floor

I have a 1975 Columbia 26 MKII with a crack along base of port side locker and would like ideas on how to reinforce underneath?

Reinforcement could be done by laminating strips of wood onto the area needing reinforcement using epoxy. I say laminate so that the strips are flexible enough to bend if they need to. After they are set up put some fiberglass tape over them to seal and harden. That's about all I could suggest without more information. The challenge will be clamping or fixing the strips. If you post a picture you'll get many responses.
