Regards to sloppy 222 rudder. Seems the holes in the gudgeons are now worn and are oversized as is on the pintles there are ridges causing looseness.Rather annoying especially going to weather.
My thought would be to get / make a sleeve that fits over the pintles that will take up the sloop. Drill out the holes in the gudgeons for the sleeves to insert into . Spot weld in place.
Has anyone done this? Or something of the same? Ideas?
