The previous owners of our boat had put slip stickers on the side of the hull. there are several of them. I've tried different things to try and remove them with no luck. Someone said try easy-off oven cleaner. This seems kind of harsh. Has anyone had this problem? what did you use?

Goof-Off

Get a product called Goof-Off. You can get it at any paint store or Lowes. It is the best stuff you will ever use to remove stickers, bedding compound etc. Dale

Heat gun

Have you tried a heat gun. We took off 20 year old pin stripes with little problems. Lettering came off in a snap also. Not too hot though as you could damage the gell coat........... Good Luck! Greg

Eraser Wheel

Any decent auto parts store should have them. You chuck it in an electric drill and run the rubber wheel over the decal. It removes them quickly and won't damage the finish. A great tool. Randy

heat gun

first, gently heat it up and peel it off. Does not have to get too hot either. Seems like less trouble than solvents, quicker and cleaner. Heat Gun = Harbor Freight 10 Bucks.
