Today I spoke to Don Brown who owns a Vega, works in Sidney, but
actually lives on Salt Spring. He had not heard of the rendezvous
so I talked it up. He seemed to want more information than I could
give so you might like to give him a call at 653 9559. He is a nice
person to know because he works on fibreglas repair at Blackline in
Canoe Cove.
The vega "Sin Tacha" was in the yard getting bottom painted and also
would be worth contacting if they have not been. I have lost contact
with the owners but he is a ferry officer. Maybe Don Brown could
track them down and mention the rendezvous.
Cannot help in this since we start travelling about 4 hours from now.
