Renault RC8D -- Bent?

hi. here are some pictures, top down, of my RC8D after the PO sucked the jib sheet into the prop, bent the shaft and strut, and shifted the engine way out of alignment. the bracket to which the pulleys attach appears to be bent as well. i'm assuming this is not the "natural" state of things. i can move the pulleys via the belt. i'm wondering if with proper annealing, a knowledgeable person could bend it straight? renault parts seem to be quite scarce.

Looks like the water pump(?) on the starboard side hit the enclosure and bent the bracket. The alternator side looks OK.. That bracket that is bent is most likely mild steel and can be bent back until the pulleys are back in line. Take it off and check it for cracks before and after straightening. A very careful lineup of the pulleys should be done. With that much movement, you may have torn the elastomer in a couple of engine mounts as well.. Get that checked when doing the bracket alignment.
