I have a Renault RC8D engine in my Hunter 27. I have been attempting to read and understand the manual (French/English)as to the Alternator switch position. When the switch is UP - is the alternator charging? The manner in which the manual is written, it is difficult to understand the French to English translation. Thanks for your help.
