I'm looking for someone who has a renault diesel diagram and information manual. Mine is a 1cyl, 8hp engine on a 1980 Hunter 27. I smelled a burned hot dog odor coming from the back of the boat. Engine temperature was normal. Three hours later I tried to check the oil and was unable to pull out the stick (on the left about 1/3 back when facing the stern of the boat). About the same time I had difficult steering to the left (kept making a circle). No problem after I turned to the right. I'd be grateful for any suggestions re: the above, and info on how to get a manual/diagrams, etc on this old engine. THANKS!
