I want to remove and old head direct discharge through hull on my Hunter 30. How should I safely plug the hole? Thanks.

Glass it over!

Dean: The best way to cover the hole is to have the hole glassed over. The boat yards do this all the time with thru hull fittings.

Y'might reconsider

You might want to think about just capping the thru-hull off and leaving it accessible for later. Who knows what you might install someday that needs a thru-hull and you already have one you can run to. Just a thought.
