I have to remove a piece of teak that's been epoxied (or Sikaflexed, etc) onto the deck. I'm installing a new heater, with a larger diameter chimney and rain cap. That means a bigger piece of wood than the existing one.I've tried just hammering on it's side to shear it off the deck. Didn't even budge! So short of a shotgun, any suggestions for getting it off without damaging the underlying fiberglass? If I can't do it any other way, my fall back position is to use a chisel to destroy the wood, and sand off the final little bits. Thanks for any ideas.
