Removing silicone residue from gellcoat

Dow 795 also comes in white from Defender (online).
It works as described above.
Goo Gone also comes in a spray bottle. It works, period.

Actually DOW 795 comes in about 14 colors. I think that charcole works best with tinted acrylic.

3M Caulk Remover. You can get this at most hardware stores.

Caulk remover will soften MOST of the silicone caulk which makes it easier to remove. But it typically does not remove all the silicone residue. I've used the caulk remover and followed up with sanding to remove all of the devils seed
