I want to remove the gray squarish rubrail from my Hunter 29.5 and wonder how. I've taken the screws off at the bow before but found the rail still rigidly in place. I'm doing this to recaulk to attempt to stop leaking water. Any ideas? Does Hunter still sell the rubrail?

I seem to recall from my factory tour 10 yrs ago that the rail snaps over ledges on th molding and is then caulked in place. I doubt to much is leaking from just the rubrail because I "think" the top hull and bottom hull are sealed together with 3M5200 (and that ain't coming off) and through bolted. I guess the leakage could come from the bolt holes though. Give it a tug and see what gives!
