Removing registration decals

Since I need to change my reg. to Indiana, from Arkansas, was wondering what is the best way to remove the present decals?ThanksJohn S/V Icymoon

Removing Reg. Decals

I use a hair dryer to warm then up and the peal off.remove any remaining glue with a hull cleaning compound.

Glue Removal

I agree with the previous post about using a hair dryer. Another thing that I use to remove glue residue is mineral spirits (paint thinner) and it works well.

i used razor blade then tar remover

worked very well.

It worked really well for me...the state registration stickers were about 1/4 inch thick but it was the boat numbers which took some rubbing but not that much.
