Hi All, has anyone removed the holding tank on a O’Day 272? I’m wondering if it can be done without cutting the tank or the fiberglass of the forward berth. It looks very tight.
I have an Oday 30. I took out my 12 gallon holding tank without cutting anything. The vent connection, the upper and the lower connections need to be removed. Then any tabbing holding the tank in place needed to be removed. A little angling, it came out.
Before re installing, I rebuilt the entire holding shelf and used plastic holding straps to keep it in place.
