Removing Gray Port

I have a leak in my Hunter 25.5 from one of the original opening gray port lights. I need to remove and re-bed the port, but could use some advice from those who have tackled the problem before. The existing bedding seems to be holding its grip on the frames and I am trying to avoid breaking them during removal.

Just did this with one of my ports. Used a putty knife to pry it loose and then scraped the old caulk or rubber sealant off the port itself. Not exactly easy but no more leak.

Just go slowly and easily ! Give the butyl sealant time to release its grip. I posted yesterday a place where you can get nylon pry bars so the fiberglass doesn't get messed up.. Good Luck !!
