Have anyone removed the glassfibre "platform" in the bilge? Any ideas is appreciated, as mine
seems to be stuck. I also would like to know if anyone have removed the plastic sole at the
bottom of the bilge. There seems to be some water underneath and I would like to dry it out
somehow. Ideas and experiences are appreciated!

when I removed my tank, it was sitting on a platform, but the
platform was not glued or fastened in, just sitting there and I just
lifted it out. Mine is a 1972 model hull 1493. Yours may not be
the same.

Digging deeper into the problem (litterally), the platform seems to have been velded down
into the bilge-sole. I also discovered, although I am not sure, that the plastic sole in the
bilge seems to have been melted in place, making it difficult to remove. This construction
does not seem to be a good one, as the sole is not waterproof - there is water underneath,
possibly damaging the ballast and glassfibre. I will try to dry it out and seal it somehow,
although this will be difficult as the plastic sole cannot be removed. Have anyone adressed
this problem?
