Bought my '85 Hunter 31' over the winter and am cleaning it up getting ready to launch in a couple weeks. Is there anything out there that makes this job easy? Don't have time to scrub for half a day.

Go to your local grocery cleaning products aisle and get a Mr Clean Magic Eraser. It works wonders on gellcoat.
