I have a 1985 27' Catalina with a M-18 Universal engine.The engine has a oil leak that appears to be coming from the back of the engine.Its been leaking for the past several years but recently got much worse. I need to pull the engine and have it checked out. I need to know if anyone has pulled this engine,out of this boat,and how they did it.I would like to do it without removing the motor mounts,if this is possible.Is there a way to jack it up and slide it into the cabin and then use the boom to remove it from the boat? The boat is in the water now but I plan to do it when its out. Is this best? Any help would sure be appreciated. Thanks Pat Graves
