Remove handle to control speed and pitch in cockpit

The handle for controlling the speed and pitch inside the cockpit is stuck. It does not go into reverse anymore and I need to clean it.

Does anybody know how to remove the handle so that I can unmount and open the mechanism that pushes and pulls the rod to the control tube?

I put a photo in the 2904 album of the photo section.

Hi Maarten

The problem is the handle is aluminium and the spline is stainless steel. You need to keep soaking in WD40 or similar for a few weeks. The best fluid is called ACF50 but is expensive. I managed to take apart a Hydrovane that had been stuck for over 20 years. Good luck
