I have a hairline crack in the starboard outboard motor mount of my 1999 Hunter 260. I plan to remove the mount to repair the crack. Hunter Marine states the mount is probably secured to the boat with bolts that screw into an aluminum plate that is fiberglassed into the boat at the outboard motor mount area. Has anyone ever removed the H260 outboard motor mount and can you confirm there are no nuts inside the boat for the bolts that hold the outboard motor mount in place? Thanks for any advice.
