We (my brother and I) have been collecting Sprite's. Is it possible that our fleet of three (3) is the only racing fleet of Sprite's in North America? Love to hear from other Sprite owners in the Lake Ontario, Southern Ontario area. (Our Fleet is docked in the Muskoka Area of Ontario.)

Sprites are alive and well

David, I am happy to report that Stage Harbor Yacht Club has had a fleet 20+ Sprites for over 30 years. I raced one in the 60's & 70's and my kids are racing them now. We still have our Sprite #117 with wooden mast in the flee. although most of our fleet are now Super Sprites with the metal mast and boom. We usually have 10 out on the race course weekly. We also have 30 Optimist Dingys along with 10 420's and 10 O'day day sailors on the course as well. Hope this finds you well and sailing. Tom King

Just got our first Sprite

David: We just recovered a 10' Sprite recently left at the local dump and we are eager to outfit it ready for sailing. Unfortunately there is no mast/sails/rigging or tiller/rudder and we don't know if it is possible to make it go again. Can you tell us anything about the boat. When it was made? Where etc.etc. Is there anyone that can sell us the equipment. Are there sites with the spec info to build from. Your assistance is much appreciated.
