I have been given permission by Hunter to advise those of you who are looking for a new 260 to leave your email and I will find the closest dealer to you who still has one. I will need to know your primary sailing area as that will be a factor. There are appx. 20 left in the field. You will need to post this information here and someone will get in touch in the event that your local dealer does not have one.

My ketybaird causes me occasional difficulties too...
I can't for the life of me understand why Hunter would give up the 260 -- heck, I have a 26 and the 260 guys come to MY boat and ooohhh and aahh. (If you've never compared the two side by side, you'll see some very nice things on the 26 that that 260 'changed'... ) Dave Crowley s/v Wind Dreamer

Jimbo, I hope that one is mine as I was promised one more or Hunter will be reamed. I had three and only got one. My customer will not be a happy camper. I may get into trouble here, but sometimes I wonder why manufactureres do what do they do. In this case, the Hunter trailerable booth will not have much this year in Annapolis. I think that the powers to be have made a big mistake. Many who buy the little boats ususally upgrade to the larger boats. The 260 is still popular. Jim, I will be running the Catalina trailerable booth this year. Stop by and say hello. By the way, I am getting my first 27 in October and two of the first 25s. The 25 will not be water ballast.

Really Excited about the new 25
I think the Henderson designed boats (33 and 36)look great and I hope the new 25 and 27 incorporate some the the same features. I've been checking the Hunter web site daily for any photos or other details but I have not been able to find any information. Dave, I want the make a special trip to check out these new boats when they arrive at your place. Thanks for the scoop.
