reinforcing the cockpit floor

Hello all! Have a H34 and have noticed that there are hairline cracks along the edge of the cockpit floor. These cracks are at the base of the lockers and are simply cosmetic in nature. But,... is there any way that ya'll know of to reinforce the flooring? It appears that the majority of the weight is supported by the engine compartment/aft. Just want to square this away before I repair the cracks,... which would return quickly w/out the support. Many thanks.

One suggestion.

Pick up a copy of the West Systems booklets(www.westsystem.com). There are illustrations and text describing exactly what you want to do. Which I think is to glass in some stringers under the cockpit sole. On my H37C I can see one of those running East-West under the bridgedeck. Trick is getting under there to work. Does the H34 have a panel that opens from the quarterberth?
