We leave tomorrow for a two-week bareboat charter in the BVI's. After weeks of record setting rainy weather up here, we're looking forward to some warm sunshine. Per the attached web site, the weekend wind forecast is for gradient winds of 25-28 knots with an additional 10-15 knots in squalls with 40 knots possible. Not hurricanes, but I think they call them reinforced trade winds. Guess we won't have to motor much! Gary Wyngarden S/V Wanderlust h37.5

Tell us about your trip when you return. My wife and I had planned on that vacation but she also needed the laser eye surgery so we had to put off the trip for another time. We could have taken the trip and I describe the scenery to her but she wants to see it for herself. Bon Voyage, Jack

Gary, let us know how you make out.

We have 5 boats under charter down there by members of our sailing club this coming April. Some of us have been there before, but still need to know of anything to be careful of.
