Regulator acting up

I have a three stage charging regulator, a Heart XAR-12. Lately, the "ACCEPT" LED never comes on, although it appears to be in accept mode, since it holds 14.2 V. Also, it doesn't seem to regualte the alternator for maximum current in bulk mode, only about 50 Amps, when it used to be almost 100 Amps. Anyone have experience with this particular regulator? Its been hot

Batterys are funny the dont like heat .but it sounds like you mite need a trip to the fix it shop there is a guy in west port that fixes the heart stuff .He fixed my old inverter charger ( nice guy) You can get the manuals on line . My heart charger died at about 10 years now i have a a ample power .John

Thanks John. Do you have a name and number for the guy who fixes these? Also, do you have a link to the manual? I searched the Xantrex site and with Google, and couldn't find anything. Thanks, jv
