I was wondering if one of you could give me directions on where the marina is on Indian Lake? We will be towing nearly 500 miles on Friday and I am not sure when we will pull in. We are planning on staying on the boat in a slip at the marina. Is this ok? Do I need a reservation? Can I pull in at 7-8 at night? also, there will be 4 of us attending the BBQ. I think Mike was looking for a head count? Thanks looking forward to it Ward warkat@kctc.net

Ward , the best place to launch your boat is thelakeview ramp, there are several ramps at thelake ,but it is our experience that thelakeview ramps are best, they are right on rt, or off of 33, look for a restaurant captains quarters and the ramp is across the road, you will need to get off of rt 33 and I am not sure what road that is ,it may be 366 or 368 as far as overnighting you will need to talk to one of the guys from the club,to see if u can spend the night at the club, once u put in if u follow the lake around you will come to the indian lake club, hope this helps , u can put in any time, the ramp is lighted , I am sure Mike or Dan will have better directions and instructions, hope to see u there, In the unlikely event that u can not stay at the club I am sure I can find you a dock at moundwood but do not attempt to put in there, or take out , also you could overnight on thelake at the boat camp, I need to go to see a friend in the hospital or I would try to meet u, at the ramp , email me mmsailor@aol.com before fri pm if there is anything we can do, also if u want email me and I can give u my cell phone , , Mike B

St Rt 23 5

Ward, Mike is right about the Lakeview ramp being the best place to launch. You'd turn left at the traffic light onto St RT 235 and then an immediate left would take you to the ramp. You'll see it in the corner of the lake as soon as you turn off of Rt 33. You could still come to the club first and some of us can return with you to help launch at the ramp. Otherwise, the club phone number is 937-843-4557. And yes.........Regatta participants are welcome to tent or overnite on their boats at the club.

JUST GIVE A SHOUT

We have a condo adjacent to the ILYC and will be around. There will likely be several of us around the club to help you launch. If you are late, late, late on Friday and noone is at the club, feel free to call me at 837-842-4568. I can meet you someplace and help you get situated. Thanks for making the trip. We look forward to seeing you Friday. Jon
