Refrigerator Pump-Out

We just bought a 2001 Beneteau 331. There is a button near that is labeled refrigerator pump-out. When we push the button, nothing happens. We have tried it with all of the circuits on but have not tried to troubleshoot the wiring yet. Is there something else that we should do - open valves first? We didn't get a manual with the boat for the refrigerator and we're not sure how it is supposed to work and what to check out if it doesn't.Any help would be greatly appreciated!Thanks, KathyS/V August Winds II

Fridge pump/shower pump valve

Kathy,I have a 2001 331. In the vanity under the sink in the head, towards the stern, there is a horizontal red lever (not a through-hull) that switches from pumping out the shower to pumping out the fridge. The manual of the 331 describes this valve if I am not mistaken.Leon

After you switch the valve under the head sink you will need to turn on the power for the shower drain. The sink drain pump is on the same circuit.

Thanks so much for the info.... I will try it again this weekend. I've never owned a boat with all of these systems before so this is all new to me and I don't find the manual all that helpful for a novice.
