After much looking around, I think I have finally found a source for new refrigeration gaskets for my 1994 40.5. I expect these gaskets are the same profile as many other Hunter models but that is an assumption.

The source is www.cooler-gaskets.com

The gasket profile is gasket "094" from their website. They will sell the material in bulk if you wish, but your better bet is to measure your gaskets and they will make them up to your exact size, no gluing corners and having air leaks. These gaskets are "welded" together and will be as good as or better than new I believe.

The sizes for my 1994 40.5, measured as per the website, outside corner to outside corner:

freezer lid: 15 1/4" X 16"
fridge lid: 17 1/2" X 19 1/2"
fridge front door: 16" x 24"

The service from the company was great, I ordered them in the morning, they cut and made them and shipped them the same day, cost $35 per gasket.

Hope this info is useful to the forum

:naughty: I refuse to pay the needless 4000 per cent just because its for a boat mark up when ever I can absolutely avoid it. So when ever I need to freshen up or replace freezer seals I just go across the street to the home depot.
Been about five years since the last new freezer seal .... Just recently been thinking about doing a fresh clean up of freezer and putting down new seals. I do it so I have a quadruple seal going on. Double seal on lid as well as the box. If I have any seams to fill or if the sticky side has a problem I use just a little Goop. Passes the dollar bill test with flying colors.
