In our 85 Catalina 30 we have a small "dorm" room refrigerator in the spot where the stove goes. It works quite well on shore power. Since my wife is pushing to get the oven re-installed, I'm looking at pulling the compressor and all parts from the refrig and installing permanently to cool the ice box while at the dock. Has anyone done this? Have any tips?
