oh one question ....did you put the dc power to the unit on a dedicated breaker switch in the dc panel ...the instructions say to wire it direct to the battries but i am not to comfortable with that ........
Woody: What sort of boat are you installing this on? I am thinking that this unit should work good in your part of the world. The hot/humid air is no place for a refrigeration unit to be pumping more hot air into the cabin area on the boat.
We went with a dedicated breaker. How would you turn it "OFF" without a breaker. I would not be comfortable with having to use the thermostat for that purpose.
