I recently purchased a 1989 Cat 30 with Adler/Barbour refrigeration not working. According to the PO it did not work for the two years he owned the boat. I know it is original to the boat and was installed by Catalina at the factory. At the survey, we were able to hear the compressor running, but nothing happening at the evaporator. Is it worth having a technician take a look, or scrap it and replace. It is over 14 years old.
