I have a nice ice box in my 2003 326. I would like to upgrade to a real refrigerator, any good places to order kits.

Definitely check out Iso-Therm SP. You can get them from E-marine Inc. I uses a special fitting for your sink drain that allows your refrigerant to circulate in the "sea water" to cool the refrigerant.

Thank you. Do kits come with refrigeration & freezer capabilities or is freezer an additional option. I am more inclined to just want frig capability, how much ice could you make in these small frigs anyway. I would rather have space for beer.

I would contact e-Marine and see if they can answer some of your questions. I do not make ice on mine (single compartment) and have just an evaporator plate.

bigsick, I guess if the icebox is good enough to freeze water, then it's damn good for beer. You can make froze beer or normal cool beer. The freezer part is usually limited in size/area so it won't freeze the hold icebox. I uses the VD-150 cold plate so ocassionally enjoyed frozen beer on a hot day.
