Refrigeration Fuse Problem

Help! The A/B Cold Machine refrigeration unit on my Hunter 310 (1998) quit working and I found it had blown a fuse on the electronics module. I tried to replace the fuse several times but they would blow as soon as I swiched on the breaker on the AC panel. I saw in the archives that it is probably a bad module. Any way to test/repair the existing module, or do I need to buy a new one? I understand they are pretty pricy ($300???). Any help here would be great. Also, if I do need to replace it, where would I get one??? Thanks Mike Kelton S/V Bwana Wind Kemah, TX

Mike You need to do your research. Go to the Adler Barbour portion of the seacrh engine on this website, and also use the searcvh engine under "modules" and "replacement modules" marine refrigeration. There's a ton of material in the archives, including alternate sources for module replacement.
