Refrig Install

I am considering installing a refrig unit to the old ice box. Has anyone done this to a 28' Hunter ? Expertise welcome.

Refrig Retrofit

I did the job 2 years ago on my 340. I installed an air cooled unit. Works fine except it takes forever to make ice. I put a bag of ice in the bottom and use the "ice compartment as a freezer". If you need help e-mail me separately and I'll send photos.bear24@verizon.net

If you have the space

for the compressor, check out the Norcold SCQT-4407 conversion unit. I'm planning on using it my Vision32 icebox. $550 at Defender and $610 at Westmarine/BoatUS.
